On 23 August, we invite you on a nostalgic journey to the world of old digital games

In the days when entire games fit on miniature cartridges and joysticks were an essential part of home entertainment, productions were created that still evoke nostalgia today. On Saturday, 23 August, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., we invite you to RETRO GAMES – a unique family trip back to a time when gamers’ hearts beat faster at the sight of pixelated Super Mario Bros or the iconic Pac-Man!

The event is organised in cooperation with the Association for the Support of Polish Technology.

The event is intended for adults who grew up during the popularity of the Pegasus console and Amiga computer, as well as younger participants who are discovering the fascinating world of games from before the era of mobile devices for the first time.

Classic consoles and unforgettable games

In the retro gaming zone, visitors will have the opportunity to play games on legendary consoles: Pegasus, NES, SEGA Mega Drive, Atari and the first generation PlayStation. Classic home computers – Commodore and Amiga – will also be available, running cult titles such as Super Mario Bros, Contra, Tetris, Sonic, Tekken 3 and Pac-Man. Each station will be equipped with a monitor and authentic or faithfully reproduced controllers.

Board games and toys from childhood

The retro board games and toys zone will take participants on a journey into the world of traditional analogue entertainment. They will find classic family games – Monopoly, Ludo, Jenga, Checkers – and toys from before the expansion of the internet: Tamagotchi, fleas, yo-yos, bottle caps and skipping ropes. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to experience the pleasure of simple but addictive entertainment together.

Contests, prizes and the nostalgic taste of youth

Participants will also be able to take part in contests with attractive prizes and receive a sweet gift – the iconic Turbo gum.

RETRO GAMES is an offer for entire families, lovers of retro technology and everyone who wants to spend a summer Saturday in a creative and positive way. Participation in the event is free of charge and does not require prior registration.
